What is Pass Plus?
Pass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers, built from six practical modules covering the situations you couldn't fully practise as a learner. There's no formal test - an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) assesses you continuously as you drive and signs you off once you've completed every module.

Cost & enrolment
Some local councils subsidise Pass Plus or run discount schemes for young drivers. Check your local council website before you pay - you could save a chunk of the cost.
- 1Qualify as a new driver by passing your practical driving test.
- 2Find a registered Pass Plus instructor (an approved driving instructor, ADI).
- 3Complete all six Pass Plus modules with your instructor.
- 4Your instructor submits your results to the DVSA.
- 5Receive your Pass Plus certificate once the modules are signed off.
- 6Send the certificate to your insurer to claim your discount.
