Cookie policy

Cookies and similar local storage are small pieces of data a site keeps in your browser. LicencePath uses them to make the app work, to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. With your permission only, we also use analytics cookies to see which parts of the app help learners most. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• Authentication session, set by our auth provider (Supabase) to keep you securely signed in. Essential; the app cannot work without it.
• Preferences, your theme (dark/light), language and study settings, stored in your browser’s local storage so the app remembers how you like it.
• Consent choice, a small flag recording your response to the cookie banner so we don’t ask again on every visit.

These are set only after you choose “Accept analytics”. If you reject them, or never choose, they are not set.

• _ga, set by Google Analytics 4 to tell one visitor from another so we can count visits. Lasts 2 years.
• _ga_* (for example _ga_ABC123), set by Google Analytics 4 to keep the state of your current visit. Lasts 2 years.
• ph_*_posthog, set by PostHog (EU hosted) to link the pages you view in the app so we can see which features help. A copy is also kept in your browser’s local storage. Lasts 1 year.

We do not run advertising networks, social pixels or cross-site trackers. Any analytics we use are limited to understanding aggregate product usage and error reporting, never to profile you for advertising.

You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time with the button below. It opens the cookie banner again so you can accept or reject analytics.

You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the essential authentication session will sign you out and stop the app from working.
